Café Integral at 149 Elizabeth Street is one of Manhattan's most focused Central American coffee programs, built entirely around Nicaraguan-grown lots sourced directly from farming families. Founded by Nicaraguan-born Onyx Nunez, the cafe pairs espresso and manual brews with light pastries in a calm NoLita storefront that has none of the Instagram theatrics of its neighbors. The roasting facility in Williamsburg supplies a number of respected restaurant accounts around New York, but the Elizabeth Street cafe remains the best place to taste the range.
