Caffè Letterario Intra Moenia

Opened in 1989 on Piazza Bellini near the exposed Greek walls of the old city boundary, Intra Moenia combines a bookshop, literary café, and evening bar in one relaxed ground-floor space. By day it serves espresso to university students and anyone browsing its selection of books on Neapolitan culture. Tables spill onto the piazza in warmer months, and in the evenings the mood shifts toward aperitivo and music. The name comes from the Latin for within the walls, a nod to its ancient address.
