Singapore's first standing coffee bar, Cata Coffee occupies a compact counter at 56 Joo Chiat Place with a rotating selection of single-origin beans roasted in small batches on-site. Opened in September 2024, the no-seats format is a deliberate choice that keeps the focus squarely on the craft, with seasonal beans sourced for medium-roast clarity. The independently owned roastery-led concept is one of the most focused specialty propositions to arrive in the Katong corridor in recent years.
