Established in 2012, CoffeePirates was Vienna's first organically certified third-wave roastery-cafe, situated on Spitalgasse opposite the university campus in District 9. They pay up to five times market price to coffee farmers and roast everything on-site. Homemade food and a reliably friendly vibe have kept it a local institution for over a decade.
