Grand Cafe de la Poste
Gueliz · Marrakech
Originally built in the 1920s and reopened in its current form in 2005, Grand Cafe de la Poste occupies a colonial-era building at the corner of Boulevard El Mansour Eddahbi and Rue Imam Malik in Gueliz, with black-and-white floor tiles, Berber carpets, rattan furniture, and ceiling fans evoking a prewar French Morocco atmosphere. Coffee leans toward traditional espresso and filter service rather than specialty preparation, but the all-day menu, long bar, and shaded terrace make it a reliable anchor for the Gueliz neighborhood. It opens from 9am to 1am and functions as both a breakfast cafe and an evening gathering point.
