One of Wellington's great coffee institutions at 163 Tory Street, Havana Coffee Works has been roasting on-site for nearly three decades using New Zealand's first fluid-bed hot-air roaster, developed in collaboration with inventor Russell Collins. The Art Deco building carries a Cuban colour palette that makes the space feel unlike anywhere else in the city. More than sixteen origins and blends are roasted here, and the cafe lounge connects directly to the dispatch hub, so the smell of fresh roast coffee is constant and genuine.
