New Zealand-born Shaun Murdoch opened this meticulous small-batch roastery in the Barrio Manila sub-neighborhood in 2015, obsessing over milk texture and roast precision in a way that immediately set a new benchmark for Medellin. All coffee is roasted on premises in small batches, ensuring freshness, and the Rebelde blend using Caturra and Bourbon from Huila farms has become a city-wide reference point. The ground-floor cafe and the adjacent Nomada branch together anchor Manila as its own specialty-coffee micro-cluster.
