Padre Cafeteria y Panaderia

At Jorge Luis Borges 2008 in Palermo Soho, Padre merges a specialty roastery importing and roasting its own beans with an artisanal viennoiserie bakery and a late-night beer bar, staying open until two in the morning on weekends. The multi-use format is unusual in the Buenos Aires cafe scene and draws a broad crowd from morning espresso through evening craft pints. The roasting program uses direct-import lots from multiple origins.
