Prototype's Strathcona roastery at 883 E Hastings is one of Vancouver's most technically adventurous micros, running up to 18 varieties at any given time on three Bullet R1 roasters visible behind the counter. The Sprudge-nominated shop experiments with tiny harvest lots and frequently rotates the menu to showcase coffees at peak seasonality.
