Toby's Estate has been roasting specialty coffee since 2001, and their Chippendale flagship at 32-36 City Road was named the World's Best Coffee Shop at the inaugural World's 100 Best Coffee Shops Gala in Madrid. An island brew bar puts baristas front and centre while a glass-walled roastery lets guests watch beans being transformed in real time. This is as close to a pilgrimage site as Sydney specialty coffee gets.
