One of Amsterdam's true specialty coffee pioneers, Espressofabriek opened at the Westergasfabriek complex in 2005 and has been roasting its own beans on-site since 2011. Owner Rick handles all roasting personally, ensuring a consistency across the three Amsterdam locations that larger operations rarely achieve. The industrial Westerpark setting gives the flagship a creative energy that pairs well with a perfectly pulled ristretto.
