Matta Cafe at 1425 NW Flanders St is a Colombian family farm-to-cup concept founded by Manuel and Aura Matta, who grow their coffee on a 59-acre farm in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The Pearl District space features the family's single-farm coffees in drip and espresso formats alongside Colombian pastries, arepas, and empanadas. Featured in Sprudge's Build-Outs of Coffee in 2024, Matta represents one of Portland's most genuine farm-direct cafe stories.
