Accessed via a steep staircase above the Sangenjaya triangle, Moon Factory Coffee is one of Tokyo's rare quality late-night coffee destinations, operating from 1 pm to 1 am Wednesday to Monday. The all-timber interior and blues-inflected soundtrack create an atmosphere closer to a jazz kissa than a third-wave cafe, while the hand-drip brews are complex, balanced, and priced from 750 to 900 yen. Housemade cheesecake and chocolate cake are local favorites.
