Founded in 2015 with a New Zealand sensibility, Slake brought a flat-white culture to the Presqu'ile before most of Lyon knew what one was. The La Marzocco Strada espresso machine works alongside Chemex, V60, AeroPress, and Kalita brewers, and the beans rotate between Mokxa and Kaffa among others. Homemade carrot cake and banana bread are baked daily, and brunch runs seven days a week.
