Weekenders Coffee Tominokoji

Established in 2016 inside a restored machiya on Tominokoji Street, Weekenders is widely regarded as one of Kyoto's finest independent roasters and is a perennial fixture on Sprudge best-of lists. The baristas rotate seasonal single-origins sourced from Kenya, Colombia, and Ethiopia, pouring them over V60 and dialling in expressive espresso at a compact counter. A small retail section lets you take the current roast home, and the sliding screen doors and clay walls make lingering unavoidable.
